The Archetype
Völva – The Seeress emerged through an intuitive and meditative painting process. Gradually, a woman, a raven, and a glowing light between her hands revealed themselves.
The woman meets our gaze with a quiet, almost timeless presence. Her long dark hair seems to merge with the raven beside her, as though they belong to the same mysterious world. She does not search for answers outside herself. She holds the light gently between her hands, close to her heart.
The raven accompanies her as a symbol of intuition, wisdom, and the ability to perceive what lies beyond the immediately visible. It does not bring her knowledge — it seems to recognize the knowledge she already carries within.
The light in her hands represents inner knowing. Small but luminous, it reminds us that intuition rarely speaks loudly. It appears as a feeling, an image, a quiet certainty — something we may sense long before we can explain it.
Völva – The Seeress embodies the archetype of the woman who trusts her inner perception. She reminds us that wisdom is not always something we have to seek or learn. Sometimes it is already within us, waiting to be heard.
