The Archetype
Sometimes life meets us with open hands.
Not loudly. Not dramatically. But in a quiet gesture — an invitation, a sign, or a gift that can easily be overlooked or consciously turned away.
Receive emerged through an intuitive and meditative painting process. Gradually, an elegantly dressed woman, a crow holding a rose in its beak, and withered rose petals at her feet revealed themselves.
The woman turns away. Her gaze is lifted, almost distant. The rose is clearly visible — and yet it remains unnoticed.
The crow does not appear as a messenger of misfortune, but as the bearer of a gift. With quiet patience, it offers the rose. The withered petals tell us that this is not the first gift that has gone unnoticed.
Receive reminds us that life continues to offer us love, trust, connection, and new possibilities. Sometimes the greatest transformation does not come from searching for something more — but from being willing to receive what is already before us.
